Ready for a Houston arts throwback? Arthouse Houston is hosting a screening of SUITS: THE CLOTHES MAKE THE MAN, a film documenting the ART GUYS on their performance art road trip across the nation in suits by designer Todd Oldham on which they had sold advertising space to 56 companies.

Better yet? The event is also a benefit for the Orange Show! The dress code is suit and tie, so dress your best and grab your tickets now

It’s like Chopping Mall but a musical! Golden Eighties is by feminist filmmaker Chantal Akerman and shows store employees as they navigate the usual mall drama of breakups and misunderstandings. There’ll also be an introduction by Sarah Rothenberg, artistic director of DACAMERA.

Celebrate the opening of norMAL and unreMARKable, an exhibition featuring new works by artists Heather L. Johnson and Henry G. Sanchez. The exhibition looks to the space between the unusual and exceptional to explore how comfort narratives conspire to make the unremarkable more foreboding.

Curator Talk: Kelly Montana on Lines of Resolution | 3:00 PM

Lines of Resolution: Drawing at the Advent of Television and Video is an elaborate and thorough exploration of drawing and video, and you can dive a little deeper with co-curator Kelly Montana as she speaks on select works from the show.
