And. Here. We. GO!

It is another fresh and happening week here in the brand new 2026.  Back to work and the grind stone we know.  The mind is back to racing a hundred miles a minute and your stomach is in knots do to the uncrumbling of society.  A little heavy handed, very likely.  However, this is your time and our time to step up and speak up.  Don’t put the blinders on anymore.  You need to stay tuned in and plugged into your community.  Thats right, the holidays are over and the cookies and chocolate santas have run their course.  Lets. Make. Shit. Nick Vaughan and Jake Margolin have been at the forefront of community and LGBTQIA+ activism for well over a decade and counting.  From their thoughtful exploration and research driven projects they have developed a well respected and empowering set of exhibitions and programming.  Well known for the the duos life long project The 50 States, an ongoing series of installations made in response to little-known LGBTQIA+ histories from each state predating the 1969 Stonewall riot that launched the modern queer rights movement, they continue to build and dig to lift up, educate, and celebrate. With the new exhibition Around the Corner and Two Blocks Down, Margolin and Vaughan feature a group of new drawings depicting fragments of architecture and details of sites throughout Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas that formerly housed queer spaces.  Through a new “wind” drawing series the beauty and history continue to inspire momentum and progress.  We truly hope you can make this special opening.
